Treatment and your goals

As a patient with us, you will have contact with our multidisciplinary team, who will work with you throughout your stay. As far as possible, we will adapt the treatment to you and your treatment goals. Treatment involves one-on-one discussions, discussions in groups together with other patients with similar issues, and various other activities. We will also endeavour to gain a greater understanding of the role played by substance abuse in your life, and how this affects your health and how well you function, both mentally and physically. Mapping and working on challenges relating to areas of life such as housing, finances, activities and relationships are also included in the treatment programme.

We are part of a multidisciplinary specialised treatment programme, and we have an operating agreement with the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority. This means that treatment is provided to you free of charge, but you must be referred here for treatment.

You can be referred by your GP/family doctor, NAV (the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration) or some other specialist health service.
